Fred Melgaard joined DRI in May of 2008. In addition to spearheading the company’s strategic direction and expansion, his primary responsibilities include client management, customer relations, sales and marketing, and product development.

Prior to joining DRI, Mr. Melgaard served as Vice President of Customer Experience and Vice President of Servicing Products at Harland Financial Solutions for almost nine years. Before Harland, Mr. Melgaard spent sixteen years in senior management positions at various technology companies, among them MidCom Communications, Physician Micro Systems
and MaestroSoft.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Melgaard served as Assistant Vice President at Great Western Bank. During his eight years at Great Western, he amassed an extensive knowledge of loan servicing, foreclosure, REO management and disposition. Mr. Melgaard earned a BS from Washington State University and an MBA from Oregon State University.
